The town's dumpster application
The Town of Speedway publishes an Application for Placement of Dumpsters (PDF form). It asks for the location, the dumpster's size, the owner or occupant of the property and the dates of placement. The town's clerk-treasurer office approves or denies it and can attach conditions, and the form lists a fee.
The form doesn't spell out which spots need it, so call the town before the container arrives and ask whether your driveway placement does, or only a spot on the street.
Order of steps that saves a phone call
Get the size and dates
Call the rental company first. They'll tell you the size and the drop-off and pickup days.
Fill in the form
Use those exact dates and size, plus your address and the owner's name if you rent.
Wait for approval
Book delivery once the town has signed off, and keep a copy at the house.
What stays out
Speedway is in Marion County, so ToxDrop is open to its households. The Traders Point site at 7550 N. Lafayette Rd takes paint, chemicals and electronics on the first Saturday of the month (ToxDrop). Tires and refrigerant appliances need their own route; see what can't go in.

Talk to a local dumpster company
Have your address, the project and a rough start date handy. The company will suggest a size and tell you the price, the weight allowance and when it can bring the container.
