Dumpster rental in Beech Grove
Beech Grove's public works department collects heavy trash every week, so a dumpster here is less about bulky furniture and more about the things the city won't touch.

What Beech Grove's crews leave behind
From the city's Department of Public Works FAQ:
Goes out on trash day
- Heavy trash, any normal pickup week
- Mattresses and box springs, after you call DPW
Mattress pickup carries a per-piece charge added to your monthly sewer bill. Call 317-803-9092 to get on the list.
Not collected by the city
- Stoves, refrigerators and freezers
- Washers, dryers and dishwashers
- Water heaters and furnaces
- Microwaves, grills, air conditioners and dehumidifiers
So plan the appliances first
A kitchen or laundry remodel in Beech Grove leaves you holding appliances with no curbside option. Ask the dumpster company which ones it accepts: some take a water heater or washer as scrap metal, while units with refrigerant usually need the gas removed first. A retailer delivering new appliances may take the old ones away.
Everything else from the remodel, the cabinets and drywall and flooring, can go in the container. See remodel dumpsters.
Paint and chemicals
Beech Grove homes are in Marion County and can use ToxDrop. The Perry Township Government Center site at 4925 S. Shelby St opens on the second and fourth Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (check holiday closures).
Before it goes on the street
If the driveway is too short or the house has only alley access, ask Beech Grove DPW whether the container needs permission before it sits on a city street or alley.
Talk to a local dumpster company
Have your address, the project and a rough start date handy. The company will suggest a size and tell you the price, the weight allowance and when it can bring the container.
